About Mississippi Eye Care Taylor
Formerly known as Eyes, etc., this clinic proudly serves the Taylor community and surrounding areas with quality eye and vision health services. Dr. Elizabeth Darby, a member of the American Optometric Association and the Mississippi Optometric Association, opened the practice and has been providing full-scope optometry ever since.
As a patient, you will be ecstatic to hear that Dr. Darby will still be continuing her practice at Mississippi Eye Care Taylor.
Though its name has changed, this clinic will continue to be provide the same quality care you have come to trust. Patients can expect the same exceptional staff and eye and vision health care, which includes eye exams, vision correction and more!

In addition to the new name, there will also be a new doctor joining the team in September 2023! Dr. Justin Zampella is a graduate of the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, and completed his doctorate in 2017. For the past six years, he has been providing eye care to the Bruce and Grenada, Mississippi, communities.
Just like Dr. Darby, Dr. Zampella is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Mississippi Optometric Association, as well as the Contact Lens Society of America.
Chief Operating Officer of Mississippi Eye Care, Austin Dudley, expressed that “Dr. Darby’s established expertise in the area alongside Dr. Zampella’s enthusiasm for the profession will both be great assets to our Mississippi Eye Care patients” when announcing the opportunity for Mississippi Eye Care to join the Taylor community.

Whether you’re returning or it’s your first time visiting, you can find Mississippi Eye Care Taylor located at 504 Easel St.
The clinic is open Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please note that Saturdays are by appointment only.
