Meet Our Doctors
Charles Tillman, OD
Dr. Charles Tillman is a dedicated and experienced optometrist who has been a cornerstone of the Eupora community for more than four decades. A graduate of the Southern College of Optometry in 1983, Dr. Tillman has practiced in Eupora, Mississippi, for 42 years, and as he fondly puts it, he has “loved every minute of it.”
Dr. Tillman’s passion for eye care runs in the family, as his father was also an optometrist, inspiring him to follow in those professional footsteps. He is a lifetime member of the Mississippi Optometry Association, reflecting his commitment to the field and dedication to maintaining high standards of eye care.
Mississippi Eye Care Eupora, where Dr. Tillman practices, focuses on vision health and patient care. Formerly known as the Eye Clinic of Eupora, the eye care clinic proudly serves Eupora and its surrounding communities, including Walthall, Mathiston, Maben and Stewart.
In addition to his professional life, Dr. Tillman is an active member of the community. He attends church at First Baptist Church in Houston, where he engages with his community beyond his professional commitments.
Roy Miles, OD
A native of Starkville Mississippi, Dr. Roy Miles attended and played soccer at Itawamba Community College for two years before transferring to Ole Miss where he received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology in 2015. From there he received his Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. While there he received the Clinical Excellence Award in Ocular Disease, served as Student Council Class Representative and was a member of the Private Practice Club and SVOSH.
Justin Zampella, OD
Prior to landing on his professional path, Dr. Zampella attended The University of Mississippi, where he was on the drumline for The Pride of South Marching Band. He then attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN and completed his doctorate in 2017. For the past six years, Dr. Zampella has been dedicated to providing exceptional eye care to the communities of Bruce and Grenada, MS.
He has focused his practice on advanced dry eye treatment and ocular disease, gaining valuable clinical experience during his rotations at the James H. Quillen Veterans Hospital in Johnson City, TN, and Mountain West Eyecare in Salt Lake City, UT. As a committed professional, Dr. Zampella is a member of the American Optometric Association, Mississippi Optometric Association and the Contact Lens Society of America. He is also bilingual, having completed a bilateral exchange in Spanish at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Quito, Ecuador in 2011.
Beyond his passion for optometry, Dr. Zampella is happily married to his lovely wife, Maggie, and shares his home with their beloved dog, Z.

After graduation, Dr. Miles worked in private practice in Forest, MS for four years before joining Mississippi Eye Care. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Mississippi Optometric Association. Dr. Miles and his wife, Dr. Anna Miles, along with their daughter, Eleanor, are excited to be closer to his hometown while continuing to serve rural Mississippi.
